Posted On: July 9, 2019

Connor Stone, who specializes in galaxy physics was selected to attend the 69th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting that took place from June 30 - July 5th. It was a meeting that brought together Nobel Laureates in physics and 580 post-secondary students from 89 countries.

For this unique opportunity, Professor Emeritus and Nobel Laureate Art McDonald, who received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2015, forwarded Stone for consideration to attend the meeting due to his bright mind in physics.

Emeritis Professor and Nobel Laureate Art McDonald states:

Lindau Conference is an amazing opportunity for the attendees... In my discussions with previous attendees they all said that the opportunity to hear from Nobel Laureates spanning all fields of physics, the chance to interact with them personally and the presence of nearly 600 excellent students from across the world, leads to a truly unique educational and personal experience.
