New Eyes on the Universe opening ceremony

In October 2015, Professor Emeritus Art McDonald was a co-recipient of the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physics for the work done at the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory (SNO) proving that neutrinos have mass. This accomplishment and the ongoing research at SNOLAB is celebrated in the New Eyes on the Universe exhibit, which was first on display to the public on July 1, 2016 at Canada House in London.

A huge congratulations goes to Professor Emeritus and Nobel Laureate Art McDonald of the Department of Physics, Engineering Physics & Astronomy from Queen's University for being inducted as a foreign associate of the National Academy of Sciences at the 154th annual meeting on April 29th, 2017 in Washington, DC.
