Connor Stone, who specializes in galaxy physics was selected to attend the 69th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting that took place from June 30 - July 5th. It was a meeting that brought together Nobel Laureates in physics and 580 post-secondary students from 89 countries.
For this unique opportunity, Professor Emeritus and Nobel Laureate Art McDonald, who received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2015, forwarded Stone for consideration to attend the meeting due to his bright mind in physics.
