Are you interested in exploring the world on the nanoscale at the Carbon to Metal Coating Institute? Please refer to our research mission.
We are looking for a driven junior researcher to join our team this summer. This individual will engage in original research on surface polymerization, work with state-of-the-art, low temperature scanning probe systems, and help design and characterize materials of the future.
The anticipated start date is May 1st, 2024 on a 16 week contract with a stipend of $13,000.
Expectations
The ideal candidate will have three to four years of post-secondary education in physics or chemistry, a strong interest in surface science, condensed matter physics, or synthetic chemistry, and possess an affinity for hands-on, experimental research.
