Summer undergraduate research positions HAROLD E. JOHNS SUMMER STUDENTSHIPS IN MEDICAL PHYSICS

Cancer Care Ontario is pleased to announce a competition for the Harold E. Johns Studentships in Medical Physics, to be taken in 2021 (this year the CCSEO in Kingston is recruiting primarily for the summer).

AIM: To encourage entry into the field of medical physics in oncology.

QUALIFICATIONS AND BASIS OF AWARD
Open to undergraduates in physics or related disciplines in a recognized university program, these studentships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement (minimum GPA 3.3) and demonstrated interest in the field of medical physics as a future career.

DURATION: Approximately four (4) months, normally held in the Summer or Fall Term.

LOCATION: Studentships are offered at Regional Cancer Centres located in Barrie, Hamilton, Kingston, Kitchener, London, Ottawa, Sudbury, Thunder Bay, Toronto, Oshawa, Windsor, and at Princess Margaret Hospital

REPORT: On completion of their project, each student is required to submit a scientific report (up to ten pages) outlining his/her studentship experience to Cancer Care Ontario.
