Daniel Westlake Wins 2021 John McMenemy Prize

Sarah SharmaWe are pleased to announce that Buchanan Postdoctoral Fellow, Dr. Daniel Westlake, has won the 2021 CPSA-ACSP John McMenemy Prize for his article titled “Following the Right: Left and Right Parties’ Influence over Multiculturalism." The John McMenemy Prize was established by CPSA-ACSP in honour of the CJPS's Administrative editor, Professor John McMenemy, who served between 1977 and 2004. The prize is awarded each year to an article published in the Canadian Journal of Political Science / Revue canadienne de science politique (CJPS-RCSP)

Daniel's article, which was published in CJPS Vol 53 No. 1, March 2020, explores partisan debate and support for multicultural policies. The full article is available online
