Research Interests

Ethics; Human Enhancement; Bioethics; Human Nature; Behavioural Genetics; Theories of Justice; Moral Responsibility.

Current research: Reconciling traditional theorizing about human nature with empirical evidence in behavioural science; assessing the implications of these disparities for our normative theorizing; evaluating the ethics of bio-medically altering our moral dispositions. 

Brief Biography

Jennifer is a doctoral student in the Department of Political Studies at Queen’s University where she specializes in Political Theory and Canadian Politics. Jennifer has an MA in Political Studies from Queen’s University, with a specialization in Political and Legal Thought. Jennifer also has an International Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy from York University (Glendon College), and certificates in Law and Social Thought and Bilingual Excellence.
