Internal Funding Sources
Prospective post-doctoral fellows arrange their employment directly with a faculty supervisor and not through a central Queen’s University office.
For this reason, you are encouraged to identify and contact faculty members whose research interests are similar to yours to discuss the possibility of joining a particular faculty member’s research team as a post-doc.
Find more information about departments and faculty members or Queen’s University Research Centres.
Travel Funding
The Office of Post-Doctoral Training administers the Post-Doctoral Travel Awards program. This program is to encourage post-doctoral fellows to travel to conferences to present their scholarly work. All post-doctoral fellows currently holding an appointment at Queen’s University are eligible to apply.
Deadlines for applications are in April and November.
More Information on this program
The availability of additional travel funding should be discussed with the faculty advisor prior to the appointment.
