Response to November 13 Events in Paris

November 14, 2015

Queen's University is shocked and saddened by the tragic events which took place in Paris, France on November 13. On behalf of the entire Queen's community, I would like to express my deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who have lost their lives and to the French people and to all members of our campus community affected by recent acts of terrorism worldwide.

Queen's has contacted all students who are currently in France. We extend our support to our students in France and their families, and are closely monitoring the situation. The university also asks any faculty or staff in France who have not already done so to contact their department heads or the Queen’s University International Centre at 613.329.9164 to inform them of their status.

Students who are citizens of countries other than Canada should contact their appropriate government representatives.
