Online Ordering System

Order your departmental Letterhead, #10 and #10 window envelopes, business cards, compliment slips... on line through PrintSYS.

Orders can be submitted through the designated user(s) or administrator(s) for your department.

If your department has no designated user/administrator please contact Steve Young of Printing Services and you will be assigned a username and password to access the online ordering system. It is the decision of each department whether this access info is shared within the department or not.

The PrintSYS online system also allows you to order other generic Queen's stationery items as well, such as Queen's kraft envelopes of various sizes, conference folders, notepads, test booklets, etc.

File Formats

The best method for sending files is simply as an e-mail attachment to the Queens Printing Services email address.

If this is not possible we accept files from a USB key or CD-Rom.

We would prefer that files be converted to PDF prior to sending, as this ensures that there are no changes in the file format during transmission. Though PDF files are preferred, we are not limited to PDF files exclusively.

It is recommended that your colour files be created in CMYK for best results rather than RGB, and of a resolution value of 600DPI. There is no charge for opening your files.

Delivery and Payment

Because every printing request varies in its complexity it is sometimes difficult to predict how long a job will take to complete.

Most simple photocopying requests can be completed from 24 to 72 hours, and in some cases in the same day when necessary.
More complex requests can usually be completed in 5 to 10 working days depending on the specifications of the job.

Your printing request can be submitted to Printing Services with a Graphics and Printing Requisition (available by request); through the secure forms service; or via e-mail to Printing Services that includes a detailed delivery address, the date required, and a departmental account code (the preferred method of payment. Please consult with Printing Services if an alternate method of payment is required.)
