Meet the Procurement Operations Team

Strategic Procurement Services’ Procurement Operations Team is responsible for the effective and efficient oversight of all aspects involving Procurement Systems, Accounts Payable, Business Services (including Credit Card Programs) and Logistics for the university.

Nicole Fowler, CSCMP | Associate Director, Procurement Operations

Nicole began her career at Queen’s in 2004. She joined Queen’s Strategic Procurement Services department as a Procurement Specialist in 2016, and then was promoted to the role of Manager, Senior Procurement, acQuire and Accounts Payable in 2017.  Recently, Nicole was promoted to the role of Associate Director, Procurement Operations.  Prior to joining SPS, Nicole’s career at Queen’s spanned roles in the Office of Advancement, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, the Department of Family Medicine and Human Resources.   Nicole recently received her Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) designation. | (613) 533-2209 | ext. 32209

acQuire/Procurement Systems Team

Nicki Mundell, CAPM | Manager, Procurement Systems

Nicki joined Queen’s University’s Strategic Procurement Services in 2008 after completing a certification program in Business.  Her career in Procurement has seen Nicki in a variety of roles within the Department: Purchase Order Clerk/Junior Buyer, Procurement Systems Administrator and Procurement Systems Analyst & Solution Administrator.   Nicki embodies a diverse skill set of functional and technical expertise in the Procure to Pay area.   Recently, Nicki received her Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification. | (613) 533-6000 | ext. 75537

Shannon Deline | Junior Analyst

Shannon joined Financial Services as part of the Accounts Payable team at Queen’s University in 2004.  A combination of her extensive AP systems and process knowledge with a passion for driving positive change made her invaluable as a resource during the acQuire implementation project. Allyson Mantle | Supplier Enablement Administrator

Allyson joined the Procurement Operations team in June 2020 as the Supplier Enablement Administrator.  She brings over ten years of diverse experience in client service as well as relationship building, accounting and external supplier communication skills.  Allyson is responsible for the administration of the university’s supplier enablement process. | (613) 533-6000 | ext. 74271

Accounts Payable Team

Diane Begin | Accounts Payable Lead

After a move to the surrounding Kingston area, Diane’s Queen’s AP career began in 2006. Diane didn’t have to spend extensive time working through legacy paper processes in Accounts Payable before she navigated seamlessly into the new Procure to Pay world that PeopleSoft brought to Queen’s Finance life. She has experienced first-hand day-to-day transactional activity in her time with AP, while also acting as a key knowledge resource during several PeopleSoft upgrades. Her experiences in the AP team are diverse and have contributed immensely to her occupancy of the Accounts Payable Lead role, covering both acQuire and PeopleSoft AP functionality. | (613) 533-6000 | ext. 74166

Felicia Hamilton | Accounts Payable Clerk

Jessica Palmer | Accounts Payable Clerk

Jess joined the Accounts Payable team in 2019.  Her office management and customer-service background make her a smooth fit with the Procurement Operations team. Business Services & Logistics

Stephanie Holcombe | Manager, Business Services & Logistics

Stephanie joined the team in July 2020 and brings over twenty years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus in logistics.  Her skillset includes managing multi-disciplinary and cross-function teams, along with working with diverse client groups in a number of different industries.  Stephanie is responsible for managing all aspects of the business services within Strategic Procurement Services, which includes the university's credit card programs, along with logistics and customs. | (613) 533-6000 | ext. 78159

Ruth Lappan | Procurement Services Administrator

Ruth became a loyal member of the Procurement Services team in 1997.  Ruth has seen many changes during her time with Procurement Services and has adapted (and adopted) to each one with ease. One constant has remained with Ruth over the years - a stead-fast drive to support the Queen’s community and make a positive difference.
