QRDC will reopen February 16, 2021

Wednesday, February 10

The QRDC will be re-opening after the Family Day Long weekend on Tuesday, February 16th. Capacity remains the same as prior to our closure the service resumes. Researcher bookings may be made on Skedda the day before your intended visit.

In addition, there are some changes forthcoming in accessing the QRDC onsite at the Stauffer Library. To align with university requirements, the library will require the use of SeQure App or the approved web based form for COVID-19 screening for everyone entering library locations including QRDC Researchers.

Please note that the printable PDF version of the form will not be accepted. Logging into the app or web form will be required prior to each attendance onsite. “Green badge” indicates entrance is allowed and a “red badge” means you may not enter, follow instructions on the app, and advise the QRDC Analyst. You will be asked to provide your green badge to security in order to access the Stauffer Library,

Please note all previous access protocols remain in place including:

  • Using the website to book times to access your workstation;
  • Queuing outside the north door along University Avenue and showing identification prior to entering the library.  Please note, there is now a requirement that all patrons wear a mask while queuing outside of the library;
  • Adhering to all physical distancing, directional arrow and signage within the site;
  • Wearing a mask at all times;
  • Exiting the library through the south rotunda door onto Union street.
