Becoming a QSoE Agent

Queen's School of English works with selected education agencies and agents. We have several criteria for our education agents, as follows:

Your agency must:

  • have been in business for at least three years
  • provide two references from education institutions, which you have represented for at least two years
  • be physically located in the market from which you recruit
  • represent a market in which we need the assistance of an agent

We also encourage affiliations with the relevant education agent governing body in your country, and affiliation with NAFSA (Association of International Educators) or ICEF.

While Queen's School of English is pleased to work with agents from all countries, we do not pursue partnerships with agents from markets where our student body is already well represented. We understand that the students may pay a fee to such agents for their services, but the School of English does not currently pay any commission to agents in those markets. To determine the eligibility of agents in your market, you may contact us by email before completing the Agent Profile Application form below.

If you are interested in representing Queen's School of English, please follow the steps below.

Step 1:

Submit a completed agent profile application form to the Queen’s School of English Business Developer, Nathan Cheney (nathan.cheney@queensu.ca).

Please note: New agent applicants must ensure that they provide at least two Canadian references (other educational institutions, preferably colleges and universities) for QSoE to contact directly. Applicants without references will not be considered.

Step 2: If your application is approved, you will receive notification and an agent contract for signing. You must sign both copies of the contract and return one copy back to QSoE.

Please note that sometimes agents are suitable, but not accepted (i.e. If your agency is from an over-represented area, or if we have an abundance of students from a particular area). Should this be the case, if your application is acceptable, we will let you know and keep your application on file. If you need more information, please contact nathan.cheney@queensu.ca

Step 3: Once we receive the signed contract, we will issue an official Certificate of Representation and arrange for required materials to be sent.

Thank you for your interest in representing Queen's School of English.
