Summer Review 2013

As the summer English for Academic Purposes Program wraps up at Queen's School of English, we would like to share our news from the session.

We started this summer with over 110 international students from 13 different countries, and we continue to reach out worldwide. We added new education agents from Turkey and Venezuela, as well as new student ambassadors from Brazil, Taiwan, Japan and Mexico.

Our Senior Academic Coordinator, together with one of our instructors, presented at Pathways and Promises, a conference on English for Academic Purposes (the first ever in Canada), at the University of Manitoba.

Advances in our online presence were another highlight of this summer: we launched a new website and a new QSoE Blog.

Read more about all these exciting developments by scrolling down. Also, don't forget to "Meet Our Instructor". Karen St. Amand is featured in this issue.
