Student Government

The School of English Student Government is a group of student volunteers who meet with the Socio-Cultural Program Coordinator each week to help plan and distribute the What’s Going On and to communicate information to classmates. There is normally one representative for each class.

Class representatives must be punctual and reliable and are encouraged to participate by sharing ideas for Socio-Cultural activities. They must attend weekly meetings (approximately 20 minutes long) and be responsible for the following:

  • bring your classmates questions and concerns to our meetings
  • encourage your classmates to get involved in activities
  • take QSoE announcements and questions to your classmates
  • make suggestions for activities and trips

After you have registered in your session, consider becoming an integral part of the School of English as a student government class representative.
