Bio:

KAREN SIMONS studied Greek and Latin literature before obtaining a PhD in English. She has published articles, translation, and creative non-fiction in various journals, including the International Journal of the Classical Tradition, Arion: A Journal of Humanities and the Classics, and Queen’s Quarterly. She taught English for several years at the University of Alberta and, to her surprise, has now lived in Edmonton’s Little Italy with her husband, Joe, for twenty.
