… traversing the paths less travelled of “The Program,” as Ron likes to call
his “way of life,” is not, ahem, your normal way of living … Ron, who’s in
his late thirties, hasn’t had a full-time job in about a dozen years … he
lives a nomadic lifestyle … some consider him a master of a well-guarded
vocation, an athlete training full-time for Olympic competitions …
others view him less kindly, believe he needs to grow up, a vagabond in
athlete’s clothes … for me, he’s a racewalking mentor, helps me find the
way on this path …

Bio:
An audacious dream rose from the youthful self-belief of “why not me?” which ultimately led to a continuous journey on a road to self-discovery. Glenn Arthur Sweazey is a writer living in Ottawa, where he leads a group of local writers, “In the Company of Writers,” and teaches Conversational English for Newcomers. One past work includes a verse novel manuscript, The Lost Papers of Tom Thomson.
