The message was a little strange and unexpected. Who knows me here? I have only recently moved into this building. It was to be temporary, so I had not made an effort, but this virus happened, and I have been stuck here. I’ve hardly met anyone; it is not easy to meet your neighbours in a block like this – especially now. I reread the message and looked out of the window.
