Bio:

Robyn Sarah is a Montreal poet who has also published short stories, essays, and a memoir, Music, Late and Soon (2021), about her return at 59 to study piano with the mentor of her youth. Her tenth poetry collection, My Shoes Are Killing Me, won the Governor General’s Award for poetry in 2015. Biblioasis has just released We’re Somewhere Else Now, her first all-new poetry collection in a decade, in which this poem appears.
