My name is Alyah, I use she/her pronouns and I am currently in my third year of Kinesiology at Queens.
I am originally from Toronto ON but, have been living in Kingston for the last few years. As an equity ambassador, we run webinars and other events to introduce incoming students to the University and help them adjust to the new setting. My favourite part of working as an equity ambassador is sharing my experiences with other students to help make their transition as smooth as possible. I was so nervous to start university as such I love having the opportunity to assist incoming students and give back to the community.

My favourite thing about Queens has got to be the people I’ve met! I’ve made some of my best friends at here!
Advice/Tip for incoming first year students:
My biggest piece of advice to incoming first year students, is that you can do anything you set your mind too! Don’t ever feel like you can’t get somewhere or do something because someone tells you so.
