Becoming the Queen's Women's Association

In 2001, the Faculty Women's Club (FWC) became the Queen's Women's Association (QWA) to more accurately reflect its role within the university and recognize it as a "not-for-profit" integral part of the university.

In 2007, the Constitution was updated and Bylaws were updated to include more women from the Queen's community.

New technology has been developed: a website, database to keep members more informed of activities.

The QWA has become a more active organization with 220 members in recent years.
