Dates and Deadlines

  • April 1               Graduate Students: PPL enrollment opens for Summer term, for those currently not on the PPL
  • April 6               Graduate Students: Last withdrawal for the Winter Term PPL
  • April 14-30        Winter 2021 final exams. The exam schedule is posted in SOLUS.  Learn more.
  • April 30             Personal Income tax filing deadline.  
  • April 30             Last day to apply to graduate for Spring 2021

Not on the GRAD payment plan and still want to join?

If you’re already on a payment plan for 2020-2021, you’ll be automatically rolled into the Summer plan by April 30. Remember, there’s no withdrawal in May! Email fees@queensu.ca if you want to be removed from a payment plan at any time.

If you’re not on the payment plan and want to join for the summer term, you can enroll on SOLUS April 1-May 31, but you have to enroll before May 1 to avoid service charges! For more information about the payment plan, click here.

Spring 2021 Graduation!  

If you will be completing your degree requirements in order to graduate in Spring 2021 you may apply.  Although the convocation ceremonies are postponed due to COVID-19 you will need to apply so we can confer your degree and mail you your diploma.  For further information related to Convocation, click here.

Important reminders from the Government of Canada for international students regarding study permits

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) reminds those attending Canadian post-secondary schools on study permits of the various rules and requirements related to their permit status.
Information from IRCC can be found on the Registrar’s Office website in both English and French.

The 2021-22 OSAP application will be available mid/late April.  We encourage you to submit your application early!  Learn more.

 

Queen’s Summer General Bursary

Queen's Summer General Bursary is a non-repayable grant available to students enrolled in the summer 2021 term who have a demonstrated financial need. The Summer General Bursary link is on your SOLUS Student Centre in the Finances section. The deadline to apply for the 2021 Summer General Bursary is May 31st. Learn more.

 

Queen’s Summer Work Study Program

Queen's Work Study program provides eligible students demonstrating financial need with the opportunity to receive priority for certain part-time positions while they are registered in studies.  The Summer 2021 Work Study program is now available.  Learn more.
