Your @queensu.ca email address

As a Queen’s student, you will receive a personal @queensu.ca email address. This will be the means by which the University will contact you with important information on dates, deadlines and things you will need to make your academic year a success.

The Office of the University Registrar (OUR) is here to provide service to you and have adjusted our services to online delivery in an effort to help reduce the global spread of the COVID-19 virus. Inquiries can be directed as follows:

If you wish to submit a request to have a form completed (i.e. CPP) or request a letter (i.e. degree confirmation) please visit http://queensu.ca/registrar/forms/doc-request for easy and complete instructions on how to submit the Document Request Form.  

We remain committed to providing service to you and will respond to your request as soon as possible.

 

Do we have your current address and telephone number in SOLUS?

Are you graduating?  Your diploma will be shipped directly to you? Do you require other forms / documents from the Office of the University Registrar? Having your current mailing address and telephone number up-to-date in SOLUS ensures you get what you need without delay. You can update your information by logging into SOLUS and following the steps on our information page: http://www.queensu.ca/registrar/solus/personal-info  

 

What do I need to do to receive my Photo ID student card and when will I receive it?

The last step of your registration is to obtain a photo ID student card.  In July please watch for an email at your @queensu.ca email account providing details of how to submit your photo.  Your student card will be mailed to you in the fall.

 

Undergraduate Students: Course selection begins!

Add courses to your shopping cart! Your course selection become official after your Enrollment appointment begins.  Appointments begin on August 10. Learn more.

 

Graduate Students: Monthly Payment Plan Payments – Don’t forget!

PPL payments will come out on the 5th of each month from June to August.  The next withdrawal will be on July 6th because July 5th is on a weekend.  Contact fees@queensu.ca if you have any questions, or need to be removed from the payment plan.

 

Don’t Delay! Apply for government student financial assistance through your province of residence!

2021-2022 OSAP:

•    The 2021-2022 Full-time OSAP application is available. For information about OSAP refer to Government Student Aid - OSAP (Ontario Student Assistance Program) on the Financial Aid section of our website. You may also go to the OSAP website for additional information.

•    Graduate students must report their graduate scholarships and awards received from Queen's University (i.e. Queen's Graduate Award). Further information about reporting awards to OSAP can be found here.

 

2021-2022 Queen’s General Bursary:

•    The Queen's General Bursary is a non-repayable grant available to eligible students in all years of study who have a demonstrated financial need.  The 2021-2022 general bursary application will be available early September on your SOLUS Student Centre. Learn More

 

2021-2022 Queen’s Work Study Program

•    Working part-time is a great way to contribute to your financial plan! Are you eligible?  Eligibility criteria, deadlines and the application form are available on the Student Awards website.  Learn More

 

Do you require a Queen’s Verification of Enrolment?

•    The Online Verification of Enrolment is a snapshot of your current or past registration status at Queen's, and is available for the upcoming 2021-2022 academic year. Learn more

 

Qualified to Graduate in the Fall?

Watch for an update via your @queensu.ca email account advising of when the Application to Graduate will open. You will apply via SOLUS.
