  • March                  T4A’s will be mailed at end of February to your mailing address on SOLUS. Make sure your mailing address is correct in SOLUS!  Learn more
  • March 5               Graduate Students: March PPL (Pre-Authorized Payment Plan) withdrawal date. Learn more.
  • March 8               Deadline to register for conflict, time zone or religious accommodations for centrally scheduled April examinations.  Learn more.

ALERT: Criminal scams in Kingston actively target students

The university has been made aware of several criminal scams that are targeting Canadian and international students.  You may receive a phone call, email, or text message from individuals claiming that they are from Canada Revenue Agency, Immigration Canada, or the police. Do not transfer money to them or provide personal information. You are advised to hang up and report the call to the police. Learn more.

 

Important reminders from the Government of Canada for international students regarding study permits

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) reminds those attending Canadian post-secondary schools on study permits of the various rules and requirements related to their permit status.

Information from IRCC can be found on the Registrar’s Office website in both English and French.

 

Queen's General Bursary

Although the deadline has passed, the Student Awards Office is still accepting applications.   The General Bursary link is on your SOLUS Student Centre. Learn More.

 

Your banking information required if you are expecting or requesting a fee refund!

Refund requests received by March 10, for eligible, unapplied credits on SOLUS will be processed March 16-22 if your banking information is up to date in SOLUS.  For more information on entering/updating  your banking information  click here as soon as possible.

Spring 2021 Graduation is coming!  

If you will be completing your degree requirements in order to graduate in Spring 2021 you may apply.  For deadlines and more information related to applying for graduation, click here.

Planning for Spring 2021 Convocation is subject to developments in the evolving outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19), students will still graduate if their application has been approved by their Faculty or School. The awarding of approved degrees, diplomas and certificates will still proceed as per the timelines set out on our Grades information page. If approved, they will be conferred on – and be effective as of - the respective dates.

Staff will ensure that the academic standing of our graduates are acknowledged and recorded, and that diplomas are distributed in a timely manner.

We are monitoring events related to COVID-19 and applicable public health regulations. The scope and nature of graduation ceremonies, when confirmed, will reflect a balance between our responsibility to protect the health and safety of our broader Queen’s community with our commitment to provide a meaningful celebration of the academic achievements of our graduates.

 

Repayment of my government student loans?

Undergraduate Students: When can I apply for Summer General Bursary?

The Summer General Bursary will be available mid-March for undergraduate students enrolling in summer session and Consecutive Education students starting in May in the 1st term of their studies (Summer 1 session).

 

Find information and resources on registration, tuition and fees, graduation / convocation, using the SOLUS Student Centre, as well as other services to students.
