Pamela Dickey Young lectures at  Birmingham and Nottingham Universities


Pamela Dickey Young, Acting Director, was appointed as Distinguished Visitor at Aston University in Birmingham, UK in July 2018.  One of her public tasks was to deliver a lecture entitled:  “What’s Religion Got to Do with It? How Young Adults in Canada Make Decisions about ‘Premarital’ Sex.”


The School of Religion Welcomes Dr. Shobhana Xavier to the Faculty

New Faculty Member to Join Queen's School of Religion

The School of Religion is delighted to welcome Dr. M.Shobhana Xavier as a member of faculty.

Dr. Xavier has a PhD in Religion and Culture from the joint Wilfrid Laurier U program in Religious Diversity in North America. 

Her work is in areas such as transnational Sufism; religion, race and ethnicity; religion and migration; religion and gender; and sacred spaces.
