Queen’s requires all of its students, faculty, and staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19 before participating in any in-person campus activities. To support this requirement, the university launched its vaccination status declaration form on Wednesday, Sept. 1, so that campus community members are able to declare their vaccination status quickly and easily.
By the end of Thursday, Sept. 2, the form has been completed by over 14,300 Queen’s community members and that number continues to rise rapidly.
Over 10,800 students have filled out the form, revealing that over 95 per cent are fully vaccinated and 3.6 per cent are partially vaccinated so far. Over 2,900 employees have also completed the form, with over 98 per cent declaring that they are fully vaccinated, and another 1.3 per cent partially. An official vaccination confirmation document is submitted as part of the declaration process.
Of the current respondents, only 0.7 per cent of students and 0.3 per cent of employees have stated they are not vaccinated. If you have yet to declare your vaccine status, visit our vaccine status declaration form and do so as soon as possible.
