Science Rendezvous Kingston Day

Whereas this year Science Rendezvous Kingston celebrates the sense of WONDER, we wish you a day of WONDERING. May the seeds of curiosity and questioning be planted, appreciation and respect for science take root, and imagination and creativity sprout upward. WONDERING is at the heart of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics – STEM; and

Whereas the 14th annual celebration of STEM is brought to Kingston by the best WONDERERS in our community, the local researchers and scientists whose own sense of WONDER led them to discover, create, and innovate – paving the way to a brighter future full of endless possibilities for each and every one of us, we proclaim a day of WONDER as you experience all that Science Rendezvous Kingston has to offer and we invite you to:

• WONDER out loud;

• Explore all the activities;

• Experiment with science by listening and observing;

• Celebrate your curiosity by asking questions, asking more questions, and asking even more questions; and finally

• Go home and continue to WONDER … about all you learned today and the learning that awaits in all of your tomorrows.

Therefore, I, Mayor Bryan Paterson, on behalf of Kingston City Council, hereby proclaim May 10, 2025 as "Science Rendezvous Kingston Day" in the City of Kingston.
