Call for Nominations - Open

The nomination period is now open.  Nominations for Chancellor can be submitted by all members of the Queen’s community – students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The Advisory Committee conducting the search for Queen’s Chancellor emphasizes that it is committed to equity and diversity at the university, and welcomes nominations for women, visible minorities, Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, and persons of any sexual orientation or gender identity.

How to Submit a Nomination

Please review the desired attributes for Queen’s next Chancellor.  If you are aware of someone who you think would succeed in this role, you are welcome to submit a nomination using the online nomination form. 

Selection

All nominations received will be reviewed by the Advisory Committee to the Principal Regarding the Selection of a Candidate to Serve as Queen’s University’s 15th Chancellor. Nominations will be kept in confidence by the University Secretariat and the Advisory Committee. The new Chancellor will be announced in the winter of 2021.

Nominations are due by Friday, December 4, 2020 at noon EST
