Judith Brown
Judith Brown nee Wellman, BA’69, MSc.’04 SUNY at Buffalo, retired International educator with over 35 years teaching in Kingston, Bermuda, Egypt and China. Trustee Limestone School Board, Trustee on local Library Board, Past President and one of the founding members of Afro Caribe Community Foundation of Kingston (two scholarships to Queen’s annually: Robert Sutherland and Alfie Pierce). With Queen’s students from ACSA (African Caribbean Students Association) and QBAS (Queen’s Black Academic Society) we present a Black History Month Celebration to Kingston Community (I was responsible for moving the activity off campus to hopefully make it more accessible to the Kingston community). Past President of Frontenac Probus and CFUW. Judith is the 2019 recipient of the Jim Bennett Award for her role in advancing ethnic and racial inclusion and for being a long time champion for change in Kingston and at Queen’s. Current term to 2023.
Doug Bruce
BSc(Eng)'85, MBA'01 Edinburgh School of Business, UK. Elected University Council representative to the Board of Trustees. As a co-founder of a software company, Doug is directly involved with all aspects of the business; legal, financial, HR, sales, and marketing. His goal is to leverage this broad background to make a strong contribution to the many issues facing Queen’s. Elected by the University Council to the Board of Trustees - current term to 2021. Current term on University Council to 2023.
David J. Cook
MSc'70, MD'75. Career in Family and Emergency Medicine, Clinical Research and as a senior executive for several international firms. Member of Ontario and Canadian Medical Associations. Fellow/Life member College of Family Physicians. Second term on University Council and recently served on Special Purpose Committees for Athletics and 175th Anniversary. Serve on Advancement committees for Dean of Health Sciences and on the Board of Directors of The Museum of Healthcare. Served on a CIHR Ethics committee. Played Varsity Rugby 1968–75, Captain 1970, Coach 1979. Current term to 2020.

Mervin Dewasha
BSc '71, Wahta First Nation. Professional Engineer (P.Eng), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Civil Engineering. Semi-retired Civil Engineer, over 50 years of experience within the public and private sector. Vice-Chair of the Equity and Diversity Committee with the Professional Engineers of Ontario. Volunteer Director at the Miziwe Biik Development Corporation, supporting aboriginal housing. Chaired the Indigenous Committee for Habitat II, during the United Nations conference in Istanbul, Turkey. Recognized with over 10 professional awards, including a National Aboriginal Achievement Award and more recently the Queen’s “Engineering Excellence 125th Award”. Current term to 2023.

Mary Dodd
B.COMM(Honours)’84; CPA, CA. Queen’s Debating Union 1980-1981, Gael 1981, Commerce Chronicle Manager 1982-1983, Teaching Assistant 1982-1984. Retired February 2019 after a 35 year career in the not-for-profit sector, most recently holding the dual role of CEO and CFO for Women's Hospital Foundation. Professional accomplishments include: $77 million fundraising campaign leveraged to build a new $500 million hospital; strategy leader in the creation of WCHF’s firstever strategic plan; appearing by request of the Canadian government before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance as an expert witness for charitable giving tax incentives. Current term to 2023.
