Suspicious Person Reported on campus and in City Park

Update:

March 3, 2018: Campus Security and Emergency Service were contacted by a student that observed this person in City Park.  Security responded and identified the individual.  Kingston Police also attended, the male was cautioned about wandering in the area wearing the balaclava.  No further action was required.

Campus Security and emergency Services would like to thank the Queen's Community for their assistance, and reporting this person and their suspicious activity to us.

 

Original Alert:

Campus Security and Emergency Services is issuing an alert based on a suspicious person report received near main campus last evening

A student contacted the Emergency Report Centre to report observing a male individual walking through City Park, east of Campus, wearing a balaclava and either shorts or underwear.  The individual was reported to have been observed on campus shortly after the initial report.

The individual is described as:

  • Slim build
  • 6'1”
  • 50’s
  • Khaki coloured jacket
  • Short shorts or just underwear
  • Black balaclava

Anyone who may have experienced a similar incident is asked to contact Campus Security and Emergency Services at 613-533-6080 to make a report.  If you see this person in the future, on campus contact Campus Security and Emergency Service at 613-533-6111, or off campus call the Kingston Police at 613-549-4660 or 911 in an Emergency.
