Today the SGS hosted its 3rd 3 Minute Thesis competition with heat 1 showcasing 10 graduate students and their research. Covering programs from Education, Biology, Rehabilitation Science, Religious Studies, Neuroscience, Biochemistry, History, Clinical Psychology and Gender Studies, it was a great way to start the event.
The four students who will now go through to the final on Wednesday, April 9th are:
- Mike Best – Clinical Psychology
- Mary Chaktsiris – History
- Hayley Roberts – Biology
- Paul Vernon – Education.
Congratulations to all our participants for taking the challenge and thank you to our audience who also came along to support their colleagues.
Thank you also to today’s judges – Dr Duncan Hunter, Dr Zsuza Csergo, Dr Carlos Prado and Dr Georgia Fotopoulos.
Friday is heat 2 and it looks to also be an excellent event. Come out and support our students – 9am Walter Light Auditorium. Hope to see you all there.
