Queen's conference seeks health-care solutions

Queen’s University’s leading health policy experts gathered Tuesday to talk about ways to reform the province’s health-care system.

The Queen’s Health Policy Council hosted experts, and students, from the health and police studies faculties, industry representatives and academics to discuss ways to reform the health-care sector to meet the challenges of rising demand and stagnant, if not shrinking, budgets.

The conference came the week after the provincial government released its fall economic update that laid out a deficit of about $15 billion.
