Consecutive Education
(4 successive terms, starting in May and ending in August the following year)
Queen’s Education students are eligible to apply for the Queen’s bursary assistance.

Summer General Bursary: The Summer General Bursary application will be available early March through the SOLUS Student Center. Students will apply on the Summer General Bursary application for the Summer education Session 1 (May – August). Please note: students must be term activated on SOLUS, and be enrolled in their courses before they will be eligible to apply. The Summer Bursary application for Summer term will be available on your SOLUS Student Center in the Finances section early March.

Queen’s General Bursary: Students will apply on the General Bursary application for the 3 successive terms (Sept – August). The link to the General Bursary application will be available on your SOLUS Student Centre in the Finance section early September.

These travel fellowships are available to students in the B.Ed., M.Ed., and Ph.D. programs to support education-related travel outside of Canada. B.Ed./Dip.Ed. candidates typically use the funds for an alternative practicum experience in an international setting. Funds may not be used for travel within Canada.
Students are required to submit an application to be considered for a travel fellowship. Current students can find more information and download a copy of the application from the Faculty of Education intranet (which incoming students will be able to access in mid-June).

For OSAP Students
For the 2020 Summer Session 1 (May 1, 2020 to August 7, 2020):
- Students must submit a new 2019-2020 OSAP application via the OSAP website selecting “Education Summer Session” as their program for the 2020 summer term.
For the 3 successive terms – Fall 2020-Winter 2021-Summer 2021 (September 1, 2020 – August 6, 2021):
- Students will apply on the 2020-2021 OSAP application via the OSAP website selecting the relevant education program. The 2020-2021 OSAP application is available in April 2020.
For Out of Province Students
- Students must submit applications using the dates above to their home province/territory. You will find contact information for the provincial or territorial student financial assistance under Government Student Financial Assistance on the Student Awards website.
