Who can consume cannabis:

One must be at least 19 years old in Canada to purchase, possess, or consume cannabis.

It is an offence under the Code and federal/provincial law to provide cannabis to someone under the age of 19.

Under the Student Code of Conduct, a person must knowingly consent to consuming cannabis. It is a violation to provide a person cannabis without their consent (for example, in an edible).

It is a violation of the Student Athlete Guidelines of Behaviour to consume cannabis while in season.
Where can cannabis be consumed:

Under the Smoke-Free University Policy, it is prohibited to smoke or vape anywhere on Queen’s University property.
What are your responsibilities:

Students are responsible for the secure storage of their cannabis (please consult video for more information).

Students who use cannabis for medical reasons should confer with Student Wellness Services regarding an accommodation plan.
