Re-Registration for Returning Students

Read carefully before proceeding.  

You can re-register with QSAS via our online service only if you answer YES to each of the following:

  1. You were previously registered with QSAS
  2. You are currently enrolled in courses at Queen's
  3. You need no changes to your accommodations

Current and returning students may use the online self-registration service to:

  • Renew registration with QSAS
  • Renew their accommodations
  • Download a copy of their Letter of Accommodation

The re-registration button is located at the bottom of this page.  

If you answer NO to any of the above statements, please contact QSAS at 613-533-2506 for support. 

New or Additional Documentation

Currently registered or returning students who wish to submit new or additional documentation to QSAS can upload their documents via our secure online portal.  

  1. Have your Queen's NetID and password ready.
  2. Visit our secure intake portal here.

If you experience technical difficulties while uploading your documentation, please contact our data administrator for support.

QSAS Statement of Confidentiality

Queen’s Student Accessibility Services (QSAS) collects, stores, and uses personal and health information as is reasonably required to provide disability-related services and that which is permitted under the authority of the Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004.

Students are encouraged to review the QSAS Statement of Confidentiality before uploading disability documentation or before re-registering with our office.  

Please contact QSAS Intake Coordinator with any questions about how QSAS uses and stores student personal and health information in service delivery. 

Letter of Accommodation
Follow these instructions to re-register and download your Letter of Accommodation:
  1.  Have your Queen's NetID and password ready
  2. Click the "Re-Registration Now" button below
  3. Enter your Queen's NetID and password
  4. Ensure that the CORRECT TERM is displayed (e.g., Fall, Winter, Spring)
  5. Click the REQUEST button
  6. Left side:  Verify that the accommodations are correct for the course
  7. Right side:  Check off all other courses to which the accommodations apply 
  8. Select "My accommodations are correct the way they are"
  9. Read the "Consent for Exchange of Information"
  10. Check off "I agree to terms outlined above"
  11. Click "Submit"
  12. Click "Get Letter"

A PDF copy of your Letter of Accommodation will automatically open.  Save this document to your file and keep it handy for ready access.  You can view a sample Letter of Accommodation here (PDF, 77KB).

Notifying your Instructors

Students are responsible for conveying a copy of their Letter of Accommodation to each academic department or faculty in which they are enrolled in courses.

Once you have your current Letter of Accommodation, please visit the “Notifying Your Instructors” webpage for information and instructions about notifying your instructors and academic department regarding your accommodations. Please speak with your Faculty Office or contact QSAS if you require support with this process.
