About Counselling Services

Our professional counsellors have a breadth of experience working with students and assisting them in dealing with concerns or challenges that they experience. We provide short-term counselling geared to resolving personal difficulties, dealing with crises and distressing situations.

We also work closely with partners in the Kingston community to assist students who need specialized mental health services or longer-term counselling support.

In addition to direct service delivery to students, we provide consultation and programming services to the broader university community.

We are here to help students succeed!

Our counsellors work in our central location in the Cote Sharp Student Wellness Centre in Mitchell Hall, and currently in the following locations across campus:

  • Athletics and Recreation
  • Commerce
  • Faculty of Arts and Science
