Online Suicide Alertness Training

This 2-part training is designed to help students, staff and faculty become suicide alert and learn how to help keep someone safe from suicide. In part 1, participants will independently complete an evidence-based training program that uses simulations and interactive videos to build and practice helping skills. Part 2, facilitated by a certified safeTALK trainer, involves a live webinar debrief where participants get to ask questions, address concerns and review campus and community specific resources.
Registration for part 2 will close 1 week prior to live debrief date/time to allow participants enough time to receive access and complete part 1. COST: $20 for students; $40 for staff/faculty.
