Vendor Responsibility

Trademark Licensing Program

Under the Trademark Licensing Program, all manufacturers/retailers of Queen’s University marked product must enter into a licensing agreement with the university. The agreement contains a code of conduct that mandates licensee supplier transparency which can determine whether or not those products that are licensed to bear the university trademark are produced in an ethical manner, consistent with international standards.

Working Conditions

The university affiliates with the Worker Rights Consortium (WRC), an independent labor rights monitoring organization, that conducts investigations of working conditions in factories around the globe and whose purpose is to combat sweatshops and protect the rights of workers who make apparel and other products.

For further information please refer to the university's trademark licensing website.
