Saxophonist Peter Freeman is joined by pianist Tom Davidson in an engaging and lively performance.  Marking the 100th anniversary of Claude Debussy’s death, the program includes Debussy’s beautiful and haunting Rhapsodie pour saxophone.  In addition to several jazz-inspired classical works for saxophone by Paul Bonneau, Erwin Schulhoff and Christian Lauba.  Canadian composer Denis Bédard is represented by his neo-classical Sonate pour saxophone et piano.
