Believer In Beethoven : Jonathan Biss

“One of the most striking North American pianists of the new generation.”—The Globe and Mail

For a concert of Beethoven sonatas, the Isabel welcomes one of the great Beethoven interpreters of our time, Jonathan Biss. He is a world renowned pianist who shares his deep curiosity with music lovers in the concert hall and beyond. As the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth approaches, Jonathan Biss is recording the nine-disc cycle of all Beethoven sonatas. Winner of the Leonard Bernstein Award and the Lincoln Center's Martin E. Segal Award, Jonathan is both a beautiful and formidable interpreter of Beethoven.
