A Michelle Kasaboski Christmas

Join Kingston Jazz and Contemporary singer Michelle Kasaboski for an evening of holiday favourites this December at The Isabel Rehearsal Hall. Praised for her rich tone and vocal command, this event marks Michelle’s first solo concert in the city since moving back from Montreal to complete her music studies at Queen’s University. No stranger to the Kingston music scene, Michelle’s previous performances include regular appearances at local restaurant Olivea’s “Tuesday Night Jazz” series, as well as shows on the Kingston Thousand Island Cruises and concerts at the Firehall Theatre in Gananoque.

From traditional carols to the modern Christmas hits of Karen Carpenter and Natalie Cole, enjoy an evening celebrating the spirit and warmth of the holiday season.

"It's as if you're hearing the song for the first time, as [Michelle] draws your attention to the inspiring lines of the melody, the artful image of its lyrics, and the velvet richness of sound…”

Ranee Lee - Juno Award Winner

Vocal Jazz Album of the Year (2010)

Michelle is joined onstage by Alec Barken (bass guitar), Sean Jensen (drums), Lester Malihan (piano/acoustic guitar), James Wannamaker (saxophone), and Joel Williams (guitar).

Special guests include Toronto artists Roy Tugbang and David Wilton.
