The DAN School of Drama and Music presents Mr.Burns, A Post-Electric Play by Anne Washburn. Directed by Professor Kelsey Jacobson, with Music Director Darrell Bryan, and our talented team of over 80 students.

Mr. Burns, A  Post-Electric Play combines The Simpsons, the apocalypse, and theatre history. It questions what stories will survive the end of the world. It combines realism, theatricality, and high art in three separate acts that take place "tomorrow", seven years later, and seventy-five years after a nuclear explosion has destroyed society and all electricity. It re-boots theatre history - moving from telling stories around a fire, to travelling performance troupes, to highly stylized music theatre.

Please note that during regular performances audiences will be asked to leave the theatre during the intermissions. As well, the show includes a gunshot effect and flashing lights.  For information regarding accessibility please contact Heather Lundrigan at 15hisl@queensu.ca
