Uvanga is the story of a 13 year-old boy looking for himself in a world that gave him life, but it is a world that he does not know. The boy and his mother make a two-week visit north so that he can connect with his deceased father’s family. Their emotions will follow unexpected trajectories, paralleled by the disorienting High Arctic summer and its twenty-four hours of sunlight.
