GREB has a new application form for Multi-jurisdictional research that will be active and accepted for use as of October 17, 2016. This form is to be used when applying for GREB ethics clearance at Queen’s University for multi-jurisdictional research, when ethics clearance has already been granted by an external Research Ethics Board (REB).
GREB has a new Combined Letter of Information and Consent Form checklist based solely on the required elements from the latest edition of Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (TCPS2, 2014). Based on this checklist, we have developed a generic example of a Combined Letter of Information/Consent Form to be used as a guidance document. These are available on the GREB website: http://www.queensu.ca/urs/examples-letters-informationconsent-forms-scripts-and-agreements/.
GREB has drafted new guidelines on (a) incentives; (b) on-line survey research and fraudulent compensation claims; and (c) the duty to report child abuse and neglect. These guidelines are available on the GREB website: http://www.queensu.ca/urs/guidelines-greb/.
