Canada Research Continuity Emergency Fund (CRCEF)

On June 23, the federal government announced details on the $450M Canada Research Continuity Emergency Fund (CRCEF). The three-stage program is being administered by SSHRC on behalf of the Tri-Agency. Demonstration of need is required for all stages; research that has been impacted and/or delayed entirely or partly is eligible. CRCEF will provide support for two main research areas:

The university has announced that, effective July 24th, it is implementing measures that call for non-medical face coverings/cloth masks to be worn in public and common spaces inside buildings. The following is additional guidance for laboratory spaces when approved research is being conducted:
