Research Showcase

The Office of the Vice-Principal (Research) invites you to a research showcase in the social sciences, humanities and arts.

April 13, 4:30 - 6:30 pm, University Club

Last year, the Office of the Vice-Principal (Research) hosted a successful PechaKucha 20x20 event to showcase research by Queen’s scholars in the social sciences, humanities and arts. This fast-paced format permits speakers to present only 20 slides, at only 20 seconds per slide.

We are pleased to invite you to our second research showcase event.  Our focus remains primarily on the social sciences, humanities and arts, but this time broadens the discipline base to include scholars in the health sciences, engineering and applied science.  Presenters include:

  1. Heather Aldersey, School of Rehabilitation Therapy
  2. Arthur Cockfield, Faculty of Law
  3. Claire Davies, Mechanical and Materials Engineering
  4. Catherine Dhavernas, French Studies
  5. Benjamin Kutsyuruba, Faculty of Education
  6. Warren Mabee, Geography and Planning
  7. David McDonald, Global Development Studies
  8. Ana Siljak, History
  9. Tandy Thomas, Smith School of Business
  10. Margaret Walker, School of Drama and Music

SSHRC Vice-President of Research Programs, Dominique Bérubé, Principal Daniel Woolf and Vice-Principal (Research) Steven Liss will be present at this event which will be held at the University Club on April 13, 2015 between 4:30pm and 6:30pm.

Refreshments will be served. To assist in our planning we kindly request that you register.
