Kingston is a charming, historic city located in Eastern Ontario, Canada. It is the gateway to the world famous 1000 Islands on Lake Ontario, the St. Lawrence River, and the UNESCO-designated Rideau Canal. Kingston is blessed with a rich history and culture that finds its source from early aboriginal habitation as well French, English and Loyalist settlements established in the 17th through 19th century. That rich cultural history extends to present day with the presence of numerous artistic and intellectual communities in the city that includes Queen’s University and the Royal Military College.

Conference Venue

Queen's University pictureQueen’s University: The plenary sessions of the conference will be held at Queen’s University which is a leading research-intensive university in Kingston, Ontario. Its beautiful waterfront campus is dominated by limestone buildings that host world-class research and teaching facilities. The University was established by Royal Charter by Queen Victoria in 1841 and in 2016 celebrated 175 years of research and teaching excellence.
