The contents of this report were presented at a knowledge translation meeting held in Kingston, Ontario on March 21, 2012. Representatives from the following stakeholder groups attended the meeting: Public Health Agency of Canada; Autism Society Canada; Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador; Autism Ontario; Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Education; Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services; Ontario Ministry of Education; Redpath Centre (Toronto); Pathways for Children and Youth (Kingston); Limestone District School Board (Kingston); Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board (Belleville, Ontario); Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board (Napanee, Ontario); Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario; Child Development Centre (Kingston); and Children’s disABILITY Services, Manitoba Department of Family Services and Labour. On March 22, 2012, the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring (ADDM) Network in the United States released its findings for the 2008 surveillance year.
