Allumage

Allumage the artignite centerpiece event, is a public art project that will be open to the public during the artignite festival, January 25 to February 10, 2013 . Using light as a theme, Allumage will celebrate public art by linking the broader public with Kingston-based artists and art.  Allumage will be comprised of a range of installations involving light, sound, music, video, video projections, performance art and the visual arts in a manner that will encourage community through shared participation in a celebration of contemporary art in non-traditional spaces.

Artignite is currently accepting  submissions to curate Allumage.  Please complete the attached ‘Call for Submission’ form and submit to info@artignite.ca.  Submission deadline is October 10, 2012.
