Research Facilities

The Parallel Processing Research Laboratory has access to high-end computing systems at Digital Research Alliance of Canada including resources at SHARCNET (Graham), SciNet (Mist, Niagara), Cedar, CAC, CalculQuebec (Beluga, Narval), ACENET, as well as other institutions and research labs. Our research lab is also equipped with state-of-the-art computing, networking, and accelerator facilities.  Our local research infrastructure consists of a number of clusters, including the latest Dell R750 , R750XA and R450 servers, Nvidia ConnectX-6 and ConnectX-7 HCAs, Nvidia Quantum and Quantum 2 switches, Nvidia GPUs, and Dell 1Gb/s and 10 Gb/s switches.

In addition to the resources at Compute Canada and our dedicated HPC clusters, for day-to-day activities, graduate students have access to a large number of workstations.
